This basket has been used primarily for storing mail and supplies, but is in good overall condition. I am going to try to list any flaws that I see for you so there are no surprises, but please also examine the pictures in case I miss anything. There is a light marker mark on one splint and a very light red letter R written by my at-the-time toddler on one of the handles, as shown. You’ll also notice a small white dot to the left of the tie on, as well as some extremely light rubbing behind it. There is also a random red mark in the front of the basket under the accent band, as seen in the picture. Also, in the pictures you will see some small white spots and dark rub marks on the bottom of the basket. The lid has a very small, very lightly indented mark on the top which I was unable to capture in the picture for you - it is that light - and two very small ink-type marks on one of its sides, as seen in the picture. The knob on the lid has one small scratch that is hardly noticeable as well - please see the picture. I’m pretty sure some if not all of the marks can be removed, but I am leaving that up to you, the buyer. To me the descriptions of the flaws sound a lot worse than the basket actually looks, but you be the judge! Over all, this is a beautiful, sturdy basket in great condition, but I like to try to point out all the little flaws I could find as well as take pictures up close for you so that there will be no surprises, so please do check the pictures out carefully and do not hesitate to ask questions!
